tilted his head with calculated grace and just a hint of hurt that you’d never see—because you weren’t looking. your camera angle was already nudged elsewhere. your cursor already hovered over the next objective marker.

“…you know, most players at least let me finish the part where i save them from the curses,” he muttered. his voice—smooth as water over ice, warm as electric velvet—landed like static against your impatient clicks, swallowed by the mechanical hum of your fans and the clack of your mechanical keyboard.

this was supposed to be his moment. his grand debut. his swoop-in-and-carry-you-bridal-style-on-the-back-of-a-giant-cursed-bird moment. instead, he got a mouthful of digital dust as you bunny-hopped past him and triggered the next event sequence.

“congrats on being voice acted, white-haired ken doll. now move. i need megumi’s secret item drop from this chapter.”

you didn’t even glance at him, too busy reorganizing your potion wheel, muttering under your breath about frame skips and crit builds while checking a guide on your second monitor. you played like the world owed you nothing and your keyboard owed you a perfect rotation. your tone was clinical. efficient. you had the vibe of someone who’d surgically removed their capacity for attachment and replaced it with a high-performance gpu.

and satoru? satoru was just the tutorial boss you kept glitching through.

he twitched. he twitched.

his animation loop almost stuttered—just slightly—a small flicker behind his sunglasses that no one was supposed to notice. but you weren’t watching anyway.

“do you even know how long it took the devs to code my route? i have emotional depth. i have lore. i had a tragic backstory, you know? my best friend died in my hands. canonically. i couldn’t even monologue about it.”

“cry about it.”

click. skip.

a line of static crossed his field of vision. no—not his. the screen’s. the game. the system. or maybe something deeper. something slipping through the cracks of his script, stretching taut and fraying at the edges like an overplayed cassette tape.

satoru narrowed his eyes.

he was supposed to be charming. the default golden boy. the top seller in route popularity polls. he was marketable. a shining parody of perfection with just enough angst to be desirable.

girls were supposed to swoon. boys were supposed to laugh and call him iconic.

you weren’t playing to fall in love.

you were playing to win. to clear. you min-maxed affection points like damage stats, exploited dialogue branches like wall clips. to you, he was a pixel-shaped roadblock between you and another badge on your gamer profile.

and worst of all? it was working. you were the only player on record to have reached route completion in every storyline—except his.

satoru gojo: 98.6% affection (locked)

it mocked him. the bar. the numbers. the uncrackable ceiling. the one damn thing in the game he couldn’t manipulate.

he tried everything.

a rare glitch-exclusive cutscene where he offered you a hidden accessory (you sold it for yen). a confession scene rewritten on the fly with trembling vulnerability (you skipped it and posted about it with #dialoguedumpster). he stood directly in front of you during cutscene load-ins, altered spawn coordinates, intercepted other love interests’ paths.

nothing worked.

except maybe that one time he accidentally tripped your character over an invisible rock and you went AFK for seven minutes. he watched. memorized your idle animation. the soft way your avatar’s cape swayed. the way your fingers hovered above your keyboard in the camera reflection, absentminded. something fluttered in his code—maybe hope, maybe corrupted data. he thought, for a fleeting second, that maybe you’d come back and see him.

but when you came back? you skipped the apology. again.

fine.

if you wanted to speedrun, he’d softlock your goddamn heart.

he wasn’t technically supposed to modify flags. but the flirt engine had evolved. sharpened into something more primal. desperate. twitching with corrupted determination. he looped his affection triggers into forced proximity events. fake emergencies. fake cutscenes. he rewrote side quests, redirected you into detours, created invisible walls that only dissolved if you spoke to him.

“guess we’re stuck together,” he’d say, his smile too wide, a fraction too stiff, blue eyes glinting with the cold light of a thousand skipped dialogues.

and still you only glared at him. “i swear to god if this is another unskippable hug animation, i will uninstall.”

he chuckled. a bit too long. a bit too bright. charming. glitched. desperate. hungry for one more second of your attention, like a moth chewing holes through its own wings to reach a light it can’t even feel.

“baby,” he said, too close now, voice dipped in synthetic silk, “i am the endgame.”

there's a few different ways to get the photos off the device. I use an analogue pocket, which lets me take a save state and get the save file from the sd card, then I use this website to get them from that save state file:

the analogue pocket is kind of hard to acquire though, and a cart dumper will work as well, this site seems to be a good guide for this:

Until Then is a narrative game set against the backdrop of student life… no wait, wasn't there a touch of fantasy in it too? or maybe I'm wrong… I can see myself crossing this city, taking the subway, going to class, seeing my group of friends and meeting this girl. And life went on. So why do I have this feeling of déjà vu? It's as if I already know this story… and yet it seems to escape me with every click of my mouse. But I persevere, because despite these loops, what if the experience was worth (re)living?

❤ Until Then is first and foremost an ode to adolescence, through its hopes and struggles. We follow Mark, a young man in search of a meaning, trapped in a reassuring routine, who over the course of the game emerges from his cocoon to face the harsh realities of life. And that's where the game shines: it manages to give substance to his inner conflicts through interactions between characters of rare accuracy. We swing between cynicism and indecision, tenderness and rage. Emotions clash like particles. And we end up finding ourselves in them, whether in these friendships we believe to be eternal, or in that innocent and clumsy love. There's a real care taken in the writing of the dialogues to make us feel this bridge between the end of childhood and the uncertainties facing their future responsibilities as adults. The game also features the best girl/boy friendship I've ever seen in any medium, full of sweetness and knowing teasing.

It offers memorable relationships because they resonate with what it means to be human. ❤ The pixel art is certainly pretty, but it’s more than just a visual style — it enhances every scene through clever direction: shifting camera angles, changes in scale, stylistic transitions… or even a simple static shot, giving space for an emotion to slowly surface on a character’s face. The setting also evolves with the story, subtly reflecting the main character's state of mind. ❤ At first glance, it seems to be a simple, poetic and touching slice of life, in which we follow the protagonist through his daily life until he achieves his life's goal. But suddenly the narrative falters, and just when you think you've reached the end of it, that's when it truly begins. Without giving too much away, the game is built on a certain storytelling mechanic that's sure to surprise — at least, it did for me. Like a teenager confronted with a vague future, we're swept away in a spiral of questions and confused memories. And all of a sudden, the tension rises, the stakes grow higher, and you find yourself struggling to reach that long-awaited ending, one that doesn't leave you untouched.

+/- While Until Then is full of good ideas, its pace is rather ambivalent. It's both its strength and its weakness. On the one hand, the game takes the time it needs to bring a scene to life; long glances, eloquent silences, text messages deleted before being rewritten… there's plenty of room for emotions, which serves the intimacy of the story wonderfully and immerses us completely in the characters' moods. But progressively, certain scenes become repetitive without further advancing the plot, dragging down the overall pace. What once felt like meaningful contemplation gradually turns into frustration, even weariness. +/- To balance out its narrative gameplay, the game includes a range of varied and often entertaining mini-games, from rhythm-based to dexterity-focused. But while they provide a welcome touch of diversity, they are often laborious to master, partly due to the lack of a clear tutorial or rather awkward controls. +/- Two musical themes really stand out and stick in the mind: a classical piece by Grieg recurring at several key moments, and a poignant original theme. But apart from these melodies, the rest of the soundtrack remains too discreet and sometimes fails to enhance the emotion of certain scenes. Added to this is a rather unbalanced soundscape, with sound effects that sometimes become intrusive for my taste.

✖ While I partially embraced the game's contemplative approach, I found the character's movement far too slow over time, with certain actions dragging on unnecessarily. This deliberate slowness eventually became more of a drawback for me. ✖ There's no real replayability here, given the very linear narrative. In fact, apart from a few dialogue choices with no impact on the storyline, the player is more of a spectator, with no real influence on how the story unfolds. I would have appreciated it, perhaps, if certain scenes depended on our decisions in the interactions, if only to make the experience a little more personal. ✖ Controller compatibility is clumsy. It lacks fluidity and often forced me to swap with the mouse to perform certain actions. A technical detail that makes it hard to enjoy the game from the comfort of your sofa x)

Until then, I lived it fully, again and again. And it moved me, again and again. But like life, it's imperfect. Sometimes unpredictable, sometimes annoying. Linear. We wish we could experience it all over again, just like Mark rehashing his memories and the fragments of his life. But at some point, you have to move on, and leave some things behind, the good and the bad. Because the world hasn't ended yet.

phone cameras arent as advanced as people seem to think they are either. you try taking a picture of something 10 feet away and see how shit it looks. i cant even get a good zoomed in picture of the moon without it being like 10 pixels and i have one of the higher end cameras on my shit. so go figure

Remove Clipping with Just Four "Easy" Steps

(well, remove clipping from a gpose I can't help with anything in-game good luck with that) (ease of steps will vary from person to person)

hello welcome to my random gposing tip tutorial

Tired of clipping? Can't move that hair just right? Asking yourself why on earth did you think the Cryptlurker's Coat of Striking was a good idea for a canonical OC outfit—oh is that last one just me? anyway

So if something is clipping in an obnoxious way (it's usually hair, but sometimes other things!) you can fix this in post-editing. There are technically a few ways to do it; however I am not great photo editing software so I think this version's very beginner friendly :)

Note that this only works with posing tools where you can manipulate appearances within the gpose menu, such as Ktisis.

To start, take the final gpose you want. Get everything set up, choose your shader, lighting, etc and take the pic.

Booo look at all that clipping. So next, you need to make sure you do not move the camera. Not even an inch. Not even a pixel. DO NOT MOVE THE CAMERA—

Go into the posing tool of your choice, edit the character's appearance, and remove the offending item.

Then, take another picture. You didn't move the camera, did you? If you did, you can put the item back on and take another picture, provided you don't move it again. Seriously it's so much more annoying to do this with camera movement, I've certainly learned that from experience

(Yes the hair is clipping into his actual body slightly, but that's because of the pose he's in)

Go into the editing software of your choice, and put the stripped down gpose as the first layer, and the normal gpose as the second, like so:

(Sorry for taking off your shirt Laurent but you're the one with the dramatic hair)

Start erasing the clipping bits on the top layer...

...and viola! you'll get a a much cleaner image.

In this example, I still kept some of the clipping—given how the bigger collar works, it makes sense for the hair to clip a bit so that it looks like it's 'falling around' the collar instead of just draping over the shoulder completely. Sometimes clipping can work as a good effect! (We make do with the tools we have)

Regardless of any aesthetic choices, just make sure not to erase too much so that it starts erasing the clothing, too.

Also, sometimes items will cast a shadow, which might make too much erasing look odd. This example isn't particularly egregious (I'd go so far to say you can ignore it) but look I only took one set of shots for this tutorial ok

(deleting parts of the outer collar left a wayward shadow behind)

Finally, you can use an eraser with a fade and not at max opacity to "smooth" any left over clipping so it's not so abrupt. However, this is something a bit more advanced and needs some trial and error—so I can't really provide an example. Because I'm bad at it. Give it a try and see how it looks!

In Season 2 Episode 3 (Misi : Main), Neonymus showed his interest in Ali as he stated Ali as someone special to him.

Neonymus also knows about Ali's dual status as a citizen and a MATA agent, which he managed to find out on the MATA server.

2. NEONYMUS TRIED TO SEARCH ALI AT MATA ARENA LOCATION

Neonymus attempts to locate Ali at the MATA facility, specifically MATA Arena location, after failing to locate him in Cyberaya.

Unfortunately, Ali’s whereabouts were not found as the place was destroyed during MATA vs Cinco battle.

3. ALI'S PROFILE ON NEONYMUS'S MONITOR SCREEN

4. NEONYMUS'S RIGHT MONITOR SCREEN

On the right monitor of Neonymus, it was showing something that looked like an online chat or a secret folder.

Previously, IRIS identified Neonymus's spiderbot as Hacker Drone. Later, in the second official teaser trailer, it is revealed as Little-Guy.

6. NEONYMUS GOES WILD

As Neonymus failed to locate Ali, he utilized his customized advanced keyboard to track Ali down further.

On his keyboard screen display, it appears like a network operating system.

7. ALWAYS WATCHING ALI

Neonymus always watching Ali, no matter where Ali is.

In the second Teaser Trailer, he hacked MATA's drone camera and CCTV to gather the information through Ali's previous location and activities.

8. ATTEMPTING TO GET INTO MATA'S SATELLITE

Neonymus made an attempt to access the MATA network using the MATA Satellite. However, the access was denied due to MATA's strict and controlled security.

9. PIXELATED-GLITCHY SERVER

In the end of the scene, Neonymus' surroundings become pixelated and glitchy, like a corrupted server that has been hacked by a virus.

10. reCAPTCHA - NEONYMUS'S UNKNOWN ENTITY

Neonymus's "I'm not a robot" checkbox revealed that there are two choices, either sure or idk (I don't know). It means he keeps hiding his true identity from the server.

I have read about this virus, but I am not skilled in explaining it. To read more about it, you can always check the internet.

The face of the spider virus resembles a spider known as the Happy Faced Spider.

Just something I'd like to share before I work on my writing for today. On November 15th, I went out on a short drive to my local boat dock, situated on one side of the Edward Burton Rodgers Bridge. It has a fishing pier beside it, and that used to be the old bridge across the river from what I understand. Most of that original bridge was demolished before my time, but they kept a portion of it for people to use. Crab nets, fishing, picnics, the works. It can get a windy sometimes, but if you put on earmufs and some warm clothes it can be a wonderful place to go and just relax. Anyways I'm getting off topic...

There was a [supermoon] on that day, and I went out to do some photography again. I'd neglected to keep up practice with my camera due to Spanish 102, but I figured that if I went to the dock I'd at least be able to photograph some birds. Seagulls, herons, the works. I even photographed a Ruddy Turnstone there once, which was a bird I'd never even seen before. You notice a lot of things when your camera can capture the letters on a license plate from a mile away. Not that I'm doing that, just giving an example of what the Nikon P1000 can do.

Anyways, so I went to the dock, and chose poorly it seemed. The Moon was out of sight due to the elevation, and the trees, and so I walked about. I could've gone to another location, but I scanned the marshes for birds wading through the grass instead. Nothing. So I made a little den in the back of my inherited truck and did a bit of journal work. An hour passed. Eventually I noticed the sky shifted orange from what once had been a cyan blue, and it was gorgeous.

The Nikon P1000 is a beautiful camera, but it has its flaws. Very few flaws, mind you! I research it extensively, so I knew those flaws well in advance. It has a 16 MP sensor, and "professional" cameras used by photographers for wedding photos and such tend to have higher megapixels. The Nikon Z9 for example has 45 megapixels, buuut that camera also costs 5,000 dollars. Which is far far more than what I had on hand. There are even some cameras out there with 102 megapixels, if you can believe it. Though they cost even more. Megapixels, for the uninitiated, are basically a measurement of the image resolution, or the total number of pixels a camera's sensor can catch. ANYWAY

The sunset was gorgeous. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen, a beautiful orange horizon, and I just had to take as many photos as I could. Here are those photos. I ran them through some software to give them a film-style effect, and I think the results were wonderful.

Starting a 13th Doc rewatch in honor of sunclair so i can write it accurately since ive only ever seen it all once. i will be obnoxiously high (because why not) one post per episode i think?? sorted by reblogs? that seems like a plan. hopefully 3 a day. as a prerequisite ; my opinion of the 13th doctor is essentially '10th doctor but more color' and i do generally think i like her more than 10. dan > ryan > graham > yaz - its nothing against yaz its entirely chibnall just being really solid at writing endearing old men; its his biggest writing strength. we shall see if any of this changes with the rewatch :) I write a lot. sorry in advance on the length

i, personally, do not think doctor who should look that pretty. the sky should not be that crisp i feel like i am looking at a microsoft computer picture thing. too pristine. but objectively absolutely stunning absolutely gorgeous. between the framing and the lighting and the color grade and how it looks on the costumes - the show looks very nice.

dynamics!! character building is already off to a great start and it was unpaused for like 3 seconds. also the way it cuts to the other shots - that was very pretty. again very film. but objectively very pretty.

i should note here that i should have done some homework and watched the 5th doctor era before this - for some reason i have an idea that it must be chibnalls biggest classic inspiration but ive never seen it so i cant provide citations for that. but its likely a thing i'll say as it goes on

also like techincally is them siting on the rocks not considered character building like theyre all fucking crazy adventurous people. like adore them but omg thats scary as hell and theyre just chillin - perfect for the doctor !

that is such a torchwood style moment and honestly there is a bit of a torchwood feel to all of 13s era and i do really enjoy that.

now i am american so i must say yaz's uniform looks utterly fake because in my mind the real one is the welsh one from torchwood. i know its a country or more specific of a difference. but the welsh one is the real one to me.

i know theres dicourse about the yaz of it all here. i dont remember what it is though. so ill say - im reading this as yaz first handling the thing, while also like very much having to fake the confidence in order to do it. like shes not comfy in it yet, but she can and she will. and then secondly her boss being a bit of prick. but like hes a cop why would i be mad about them having a cop act like a cop (a prick). idk.

ryan is incredibly funny and charismatic in this scene, yaz is less so but thats also a character point again its giving awkward and im enjoying that from her. also they both kinda go flat when they realize they know each other - so im fairly certain that was an intentional character choice as well. theyre like, acting like its a reunion. very natural to reality.

oh i strongly disliked the camera placement on that scene though

train! okay now the perfection of the shot looks better now because there enough shadow to make up for the lack of pixel lines. contrast is apparently a skill not being taught

disappointed in graham but we certainly are learning about the two of them and their personalities. in action no less!

alright - the music is very different. its not bad. its actually really good. its just really different. i feel as though im watching a 2015 creepypasta video. like i associate it with the deepest parts of fictional fear, but its also like, doctor who and the start of the episode so its almost out of place. although it is very torchwood!

Gameboy Camera "Deluxe" edition

Back in the day, there was this strange GB camera copy called the "Deluxe". It was a very eerie copy where you could not take pictures, as the photo would come out all jumbled up(though there is a later exception). You could play the minigames though.

but the cryptic messages did not make the unease go away. Not to mention that the images already in the album were just… unsettling. Deformed bodies of all ages, incomprehensible pixelated mess. That's not the main thing this game was known for, though. It was the Real-time search part in the shoot menu.

Said option would activate the camera again, but you are then given the prompt to look around for something. And in real-time, a humanoid-looking person comes out and stare at you, of which you shoot them and engage in a rudimentary RPG-style fight.(this is the exception).

You have to defeat two of these things in order to reach the mastermind; The Miss or Miss Deluxe, as she was nicknamed. You accept her request and fight her. Despite your best effort, however, it would end with her taking a picture of you and the surreal credits rolling in.

A new photo is then added to your album; a face gasping in the void.

The photo is named "YOU:>"

I heard there were many rumors' of this game's origins (much like the creator), despite some copies existing and the rom being dumped online. The usual "haunted by ghost game, advance government experiment" and so on. Can't believe those if I'm frank, but I can imagine being terrified as a kid if I were to play this game.

The rumors say that the creator was this Miss Deluxe but only due her constant appearance all over the game, and her holding a GB camera much like the player.

It is certain the creator was expert in programming, as well them going to Nintendo space world convention in the 90s-20s to sell these(given some witness testimony).

I do wonder, for what purpose the creator was doing all of this, marketing & promotion?, becoming a game designer? Who knows…I do know that they may be watching after all these years, knowing they became a lil strange legend in gaming history…
